interview

by Dimitri Vorontsov

Dimitri: What first inspired you to pursue modeling, and when did you realize it could become a serious career for you?

Jack Titus: Modeling didn’t begin as a dream for me. It began as curiosity.

I was fascinated by the idea that a single image could communicate power, vulnerability, elegance, or rebellion without a single word. Fashion felt like a silent language, and I wanted to learn how to speak it.

The moment I realized it could become a serious career was when I started traveling for work. Suddenly, I was moving between cultures, cities, and creative minds. That’s when I understood modeling is not just about appearance. It is about presence, perspective, and the ability to translate emotion into imagery.

Dimitri: What motivated you to participate in the international competition that ultimately led to your title as Mister Model International 2025?

Jack Titus: It was less about chasing a title and more about challenging my own limits.

By that point, I had already worked in fashion and experienced the industry from different angles. But competitions create a different kind of pressure. You are not only presenting yourself as a model, you are presenting your story, your resilience, and your identity on a global stage.

For me, it was a test. I wanted to see how far determination could take someone who built his path without shortcuts.

Dimitri: Can you share the moment during the competition when you felt your life was about to change?

Jack Titus: Ironically, the moment came when I stopped thinking about winning.

Backstage before the final announcement, I suddenly felt calm. I realized that every step of my journey had already prepared me for that stage. The years of rejection, the castings that didn’t work out, the uncertainty of building a career in fashion.

At that moment, I understood something very simple but very powerful. Whether I won or not, I had already become the person I needed to be to stand there with confidence.

Dimitri: Competitions like this require much more than appearance. What qualities helped you stand out among contestants from around the world?

Jack Titus: Authenticity and resilience.

In an industry that often celebrates perfection, I think authenticity is what truly resonates. I never tried to present myself as someone flawless. My journey has been complex, challenging, and sometimes unpredictable.

But those experiences shaped my perspective. And I believe people can feel when someone stands in front of them with real confidence, not the kind that comes from appearance, but the kind that comes from experience.

Dimitri: What was the biggest challenge you faced during the competition, and how did you overcome it?

Jack Titus: The biggest challenge was learning to quiet the noise around me.

In competitions there are expectations from everywhere. Judges, audiences, media, even your own internal pressure. It can become overwhelming if you allow it.

The way I navigated that environment was by focusing on gratitude. Instead of seeing it as pressure, I saw it as an extraordinary opportunity to represent my country and my journey.

Dimitri: How did this experience change the way you see yourself, both as a model and as a person?

Jack Titus: Winning the title shifted my mindset from ambition to purpose.

Before, my focus was purely on building a career. After the title, I realized that visibility comes with responsibility. People watch not only what you achieve, but also how you carry yourself afterward.

It made me more intentional about the projects I pursue and the messages I share through my platform.

Dimitri: Winning an international title brings visibility and responsibility. How do you hope to use your platform to make a positive impact?

Jack Titus: I want to remind people that success is rarely a straight line.

Behind every visible achievement there are moments of doubt, rejection, and uncertainty. In creative industries, those moments are part of the process.

If my journey can encourage someone to keep pursuing their path despite setbacks, then the title means something much deeper than a crown.

Dimitri: In your opinion, how can the modeling and fashion industry contribute to creating a more inclusive world?

Jack Titus: Fashion has the power to influence culture because it shapes the way we see ourselves and others.

But inclusion should not be treated as a seasonal trend. It should be embedded in the industry’s philosophy. When fashion truly embraces diversity in its casting, storytelling, and creative direction, it becomes more than aesthetics. It becomes a reflection of the world as it truly is.

Dimitri: How would you describe your personal style, both on and off the runway?

On the runway, I enjoy transformation. Every designer creates a different universe, and stepping into that vision is one of the most exciting aspects of modeling.

Off the runway, my style is much more understated. I gravitate toward strong tailoring, clean lines, and pieces that feel effortless yet intentional.

For me, elegance is not about excess. It is about precision.

Dimitri: What role does fashion play in expressing who you are?

Jack Titus: Fashion is a form of storytelling.

Before you speak, before you introduce yourself, your style already communicates something about your personality, your mood, your confidence.

For me, fashion is not about following trends. It is about expressing identity through visual language.

Dimitri: Is there a designer, brand, or creative collaboration you dream of working with in the future?

Jack Titus: I’m drawn to designers who treat fashion as an art form rather than simply a product.

Collaborations that blend storytelling, craftsmanship, and cultural dialogue are the most exciting to me. I believe the most powerful fashion moments happen when creativity pushes beyond commercial boundaries and becomes something timeless.
